Who the hell is Kyle Thompson?  I am a firefighter, proud husband and father, mediocre hockey player and even worse hip-hop artist who resides in beautiful Byron. 

 

I grew up on a horse farm just west of the city, and spent much of my youth playing hockey at Lambeth Arena.  I attended Oakridge S.S. in my teens, where I made lifelong friends - many of whom still live in the Byron area. 

 

I've been fortunate to land my 'dream job' with the Toronto Fire Service, and even luckier to still live in the neighbourhoods that raised me.  I truly have the best of both worlds - all the craziness and excitement that working in the big city has to offer, and coming home to the tranquility and natural beauty that is West London. 

 

It would be an honor and a privilege to be able to give back to the communities that have given me so much over the last 38 years.
